Paintball Lite & Splatmaster FAQ

What is Paintball Lite?

PAINTBALL LITE (Ages 8+) : Paintball Lite uses a new type of paintball gun that was built specifically for beginner players and kids ages 8-12.  The guns are much smaller and weight a lot less than traditional equipment, but the best part is they use the same extra small paintballs that are used for Splatmaster.  What does that mean?  No bruises or marks after a day of Paintball Lite! All of the playing gear is easy to carry, super lightweight, and the game itself has the same feel as regular paintball (but without the intensity!) Paintball Lite is perfect for adult first timers, young up-and-comers, and for anyone else who’s looking to have a great time on the paintable field without the fear of getting shot.

What is Splatmaster?

SPLATMASTER (Ages 6-9) : This low-intensity activity uses lightweight, spring-loaded, pump-action equipment that use extra small paintballs for ammo. Perfect for younger children, Splatmaster gives kids ages 6-9 the chance to play the game of paintball without having to worry about any loud noises or leaving with a bruise.  It’s 100% pain-less and 100% fun!

What’s the difference between Splatmaster and Paintball?

Think of it like “kid-friendly” paintball. Younger players (ages 6-9) will play a variety of different paintball style games, but with guns that shoot about half the speed of a regular paintball gun. Also, the ammunition is about two-thirds the size of a regular paintball.

Are Paintball Lite & Splatmaster safe?

Absolutely! All players will be equipped with protective eye goggles and a chest protector that are to be worn at ALL times. Also, players will have a thorough safety brief before being allowed to play.

Does it hurt?

The ammunition used is designed to be as painless as possible. The impact will only cause a small sting, such as the flick of a rubber band.

Does The Paintball Park provide supervision?

Yes! Each private group and group of walk-on players will be accompanied by a safety coordinator  to ensure adequate supervision and safety.

What equipment do the players receive?

Each player will receive a rental gun, ammunition, and a mask.  Splatmaster private groups come with chest protectors at no charge.

How many guests can I invite?

Minimum players for a Splatmaster private group are 10.  Minimum players for a Paintball Lite private group are 12.  Paintball Lite also has a walk-on option every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (no reservation required).

When can I book my group?

Group bookings are available seven days a week at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.

What time should my guests and I arrive at the party?

We ask that you and your guests arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled party time to allow time for check in.

Do I need to stay at the party?

We ask that at least one adult stay with the party group at all times. Other adults are welcome to stay and watch the fun!

Does each guest, including adults, have to have a completed/signed waiver?

Yes. For insurance purposes, all guests who play any adventure sport we offer at The Paintball Park are required to have a completed/signed waiver. Our waivers are signed through a digital system and can be found at Online Waivers Now! All waivers must be filled out ONLINE and in their entirety to participate. Skipping fields in the form will delay your check-in time on the day of your party.

What is the feet per second (FPS) for JT Splatmaster guns?

These guns are spring-loaded and fire at a velocity of 150 FPS, which is about half the speed of a standard paintball gun. At this rate, you can see your ammo fly through the air before you get the satisfaction of seeing your splat!

Can I use my own decorations and/or paper products in the party area?

Yes. However, to preserve the integrity of our party area, we do not permit confetti, piñatas, streamers, silly string, or heavy adhesive tapes (i.e. duct tape, masking tape) to be used.

Can I bring my own goodie bags/balloons?

You are more than welcome to bring your own goodie bags & balloons.

What should the kids wear to the party?

We recommend that players wear long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. The ammunition is washable, but we recommend that kids not wear their favorite clothes as they may get a little dirty.

What if I need to reschedule my party?

To avoid cancellation charges, we require at least a 48-hour advance notice of intent to cancel or reschedule. If you do not provide notice, there is a $150.00 cancellation fee.
